CAMOGIE NOTES

It was hard luck on our u14 team last Saturday June 18 after a thriller of a match. Our girls lost out by 1 point in the County U14 shield final at the County Camogie grounds, The Ragg against Silvermines. The game was so exciting, it was anyone’s game, but our girls put on some display and even though we lost, we can hold their heads high. The skills they have improved on is second to none, and the teamwork, what can we say but “brilliant”. The loss will make us better and we will be back! A big thank you to mentors PJ Moloney, Kieran Durkan, Louise Moloney and Tara Stafford and to all parents who travelled on the day to support the girls.

KNOCKGRAFFON CARDS

Winners on Wednesday, June 15 with 10 games were Joe Murphy & PJ Boland and in joint second place with 9 games each were Liam Harty & John Cooney, Tommy Guilfoyle & Eileen Howley and Brian Blackmore & Philip Hickey.  Table prizes went to Chas Keane & Ml Flaherty and Donal O’Dwyer & Sandra English.
