Congratulations to the Women’s Group and New Inn Tidy Towns on their successful Treasure Hunt on Tuesday June 11. It was great to see so many participants take part and had a great time. Special congratulations to winner Breda Culleton and Teresa Shanahan for coming in second place. Well done also to Clara Flanagan and twins Mia & Chloe Flanagan for winning in the Junior category. The committee members, especially Trish Hogan and Mary O’Donnell deserve a big thank you for their delicious baking and to Mary O’Connor for helping out with refreshments. Thanks also to Conor & Sandra English for organising the Treasure Hunt along with their son Finbarr. The evening ended with a presentation of €200 from Mary Frances Barron of the Women’s Group to Philly Fahey, the chairperson of Tidy Towns. There was an extra special treat that evening with a surprise visit by Munster Rugby coach Denis Leamy, so a group photo was called for. All in all, a wonderful evening was had by all!
