ROCKWELL ROVERS CAMOGIE CLUB

Huge congratulations to the U12 Rockwell Rovers White camogie team on their victory over Ballina camogie team in the county Shield Final. They played Ballina Camogie club on July 6th in Boherlahan. It was a fantastic match, and the game was all square at the full-time whistle. After 10 minutes of extra time our girls edged out a very competitive Ballina by only two points. This is a very young u12 team and are to be admired for their great spirit, hard work and skill. Thanks to Ballina for the game and to the Rockwell Rovers supporters who came to Boherlahan to cheer on the girls. Joint captains on the day were Clara Burke and Éabha Farrell. Thanks to Philly Ryan who refereed the game and presented the shield to the girls. Well done to the team and their coaches: Lorraine Farrell, Maree Heaney, Margaret Burke and Kevin Heaney.
