CAR WASH FUNDRAISER
Rockwell Rovers Ladies football are running a car wash fundraiser from 10am to 4pm on Saturday, February 12 up at the GAA field. All donations greatly appreciated!
CAMOGIE
It’s time to dust off the cobweb’s girls, and get back to the field of dreams, where memories, great friendship, lots of fun, and winning and losing are all part of being on a team, part of the club, it’s what it’s all about. So, training will be on Tuesday evenings for all u14s and u16s from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Please bring your own water bottle and €2. Looking forward to seeing you all there. Younger girls will commence in the coming weeks. After our recent Agm, the following officers for the New Year are in place. KNOCKGRAFFON CARDS
are back every Wednesday evenings at the Old School, Knockgraffon. Cards start at 8.15pm sharp (please note earlier time). All are welcome. Winners last Wednesday, February 2 with 10 games each were Mary Anne Healy & Eileen White, Maisie Grady & Mary Gleeson and Chas Keane & Ml Murphy. Well done all. We want to wish card stalwart Kitty Peter, Kilnacask a speedy recovery. Hoping to see Kitty back at the cards soon.
PARISH NOTES
Anniversary masses this weekend include Mary Fitzpatrick, Ballygerald and Danny O’Connor, Carrigeen at 7.30pm mass in New Inn on Saturday February 12. Gavin McGuirk, his father Brendan and father-in-law Francis de Charmant at 11am in New Inn on Sunday February 13. Anniversary masses last week included John & Kay O’Mahony, Lagganstown and their parents.
