BOOK LAUNCH

This powerful collection of reflections explores challenges, recovery, and the profound lessons learned along the way. CLOTHES COLLECTION

The New Inn Community Centre continues its fundraising clothes collection this Wednesday, Sept 11 and Thursday, September 12; Collection hours will be from 6pm to 7pm on each of these evenings. For those unable to drop off donations by Monday, September 16, please reach out to Esther at 086 358 3719 or Paddy at 086 860 2979 to arrange an alternative collection. This is a wonderful opportunity to declutter your wardrobes while supporting our community centre. Your contributions will play a vital role in sustaining our activities in the centre. WOMAN’S GROUP

KEEP FIT CLASSES in the New Inn Community Centre started on Monday September 9 at 7pm for six weeks. For more info you can contact Mary Frances on (087) 759 5512. Don’t forget a bottle of water to keep you hydrated!

BOWLS continue this Wednesday morning i.e. September 4th from 9.45am to 11.15am in the NICC. All are welcome, especially new members!

ANNUAL SOLEMN NOVENA TO OUR LADY OF PERPETUAL HELP 2024 CONTINUES IN HOLY CROSS ABBEY THIS WEEK 

SOLEMN NOVENA – SUNDAY SEPT 8 TO MONDAY 16

Monday to Saturday: 7am, 10.30am, 4.30pm, 7.30pm., Sunday: 7am, 10.30am, 12.30pm, 7.30pm., Special sessions: Penitential Rite: Friday Sept 13 at 7.30pm,

Anointing of the sick: Sat Sept 14 at 2pm, Blessing of Infants: Sunday 15 at 2.30pm.

The Novena will also be available online on www.churchservices.tv/holycrossabbey and on Tipperary Mid-West Radio at 7.30pm daily (except Friday 13th when the 4.30pm will be

broadcast and Saturday 14th when the Anointing of the Sick will be

broadcast at 2pm).  Petitions for the Annual Novena and our weekly Friday Novena

LOURDES PILGRIMAGE IN OCTOBER
This pilgrimage is on 10th October to 14th October 2024. Is extended to Pat & Annette Carroll, Garrandee on the sad passing of Pat’s mother Maryann Carroll (née Hyland) Raheenroe (Formerly Lyrefune, Ballyporeen), Burncourt, Tipperary. Peacefully in the Corpus Christi Nursing Home, Mitchelstown, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late Mikie, and dear mother of James, Margaret (Kirwan, Dunmore East), Pat (New Inn) Anthony and Paul (Gneeveguilla). Sadly missed by her loving family, son in-law Dermot, Daughters in-laws Mags (O’Flynn), Margaret (King), Christine (Cronin), Annette (Hally), her 12 grandchildren, brothers in-law, nephew, nieces, cousins, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.
