KNOCKGRAFFON CARDS 

Will resume this Wednesday May 15 at 8.30pm. On behalf of the committee, heartfelt sympathies are extended to Michael & Kitty Byrne and family, Knockgraffon on the passing of their son Michael. Kitty is a stalwart of the cards here in Knockgraffon and our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time. May Michael rest in Peace.

 

 

WOMEN’S GROUP

has some exciting events coming up. Firstly, there will be a “Treasure Hunt” held at Rockwell College this Thursday, May 16, starting at 6:45 pm. Participants are asked to meet at the chapel on the college grounds. The event promises a fun and engaging experience, and all are welcome to join in the adventure. Next up, there will be a “Solicitor’s Talk” taking place on Tuesday, May 21, at 8pm in the NICC. This talk will provide valuable insights and information on legal matters, making it a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about the legal field. Attendees can expect an informative and engaging session. Furthermore, the Women’s Group is organizing a trip to “Bloom” on Thursday, May 30. Bloom is an annual event organized by Bord Bia and is set to take place over five days, from May 30th to June 3rd. The event will run daily from 9 am to 6 pm and will be held across an impressive 70 acres in the beautiful Phoenix Park. This year, Bloom is celebrating its 18th birthday, a testament to its popularity and status as one of the nation’s favourite summer events. With its picturesque setting and diverse range of attractions, Bloom offers something for everyone and is not to be missed. In aid of Cahir Day Care Centre this Sunday May 19 from 9.30am to 12 noon. Cake Sale, Plant Sale, Bric a brac & raffle.  This facility offers brilliant support on a daily basis to so many of our elderly family and friends in Cahir town and the rural areas that surround it. So come along to the Day Care Centre in Cahir, your support would be much appreciated.
