BIRTHDAY GREETINGS
To former curate of New Inn and PP Walkinstown, Dublin, Fr Denis Foley. Denis Foley came to New Inn in February 1968 as CC and served there until July 1982 when he was transferred to Walkinstown, Dublin as PP. While in New Inn he pursued two great passions in his life. He was the owner of two hunter horses and a kennel of award-winning pure-bred dogs and was regularly seen astride his silver Hunter or walking his large pack of Afghan Elk and wolf hounds. However, his recreational interests never interfered with his Pastoral Work. His dedication to caring for the elderly, the lonely and the sick, quickly gained him the respect and affection of the parishioners of New Inn/Knockgraffon where he still has to date many long-standing friendships. We wish him good health and happiness as he enters his 95th year.
