WOMEN’S GROUP

Trip to Bloom, Phoenix Park, Dublin on Thursday, June 2. Bus leaving school car park at 8am. €95 (for non-members) all-inclusive i.e., bus, bloom ticket and meal. Now in its 16th year, the show has grown into something which not only makes for an enjoyable day out, but also offers a vast range of practical information on everything from gardening, to growing fruit and vegetables, cooking and culture.

CONGRATULATIONS

to New Inn Voices on receiving 2nd place in the Sacred Music competition at the AIMS Choral Festival, New Ross on Sunday, May 22. They received the “Whitten Haslam” Memorial Trophy. Well done to all the members and special thanks to choral director Jayne McConnon for her hard work and endeavour with the group.

5K FAMILY FUN RUN/WALK – MARY DOYLE MEMORIAL

Chipped timing is on Saturday 11 June starting at Rockwell Rovers GAA field, New Inn. Registration from 6pm and the race starts at 7.30pm. Perpetual cup for first county Tipperary Male & Female finishers in honour of Mary.  Refreshments afterwards. Entry fee: Athletics €10, Walkers €5. All are welcome

KNOCKGRAFFON CARDS

Winners on Wednesday, May 21 with 11 games were Jim Meskell & Syl Murray and in joint second place with 10 games each were Jim & Mary Garrett and Matty Boyle & Frank Gubbins. Table prize winners were Sean Spillane & John O’Connor and Billy & Vincent Phelan. Cards on every Wednesday night at the Old School, Knockgraffon 8.15pm. All are welcome.

ROCKWELL ROVERS CUL CAMP

Online booking for Rockwell Rovers Kellogg’s Cul Camps is now open. Please see the following link: https://www.kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie/booking/online/camp. It is on from Monday June 27 to Friday, July 1 from 10am to 2pm each day. Cost is €75 and this includes the delivery of the gear directly to your home which means that if there are any issues with your order you will have to deal directly with Kellogg’s Cul Camp. We will not be able to swap gear or get varied sizes, so please be careful with your order. Cul camp is for primary school going children between the ages of 6 to 13.
