Rockwell Rovers Camogie club would like to thank most sincerely the beautiful gift of an ice cream van to our u16 team that played Gortnahoe three weeks ago in New Inn. This gift was from the very generous David & Rose Morris celebrating life after Rose suffered a brain injury stroke 21 years ago. They are a wonderful couple, and we wish Rose especially many more years of good health and happiness.
Our two u14 teams were unfortunately beaten in their semi-finals over the last few weeks. However, our u12s have also gotten to the semi-finals. We wish them the very best of luck over the next few weeks. Huge achievement to get to semi-finals.
Our u8s and u10s have taken part in three county blitzes so far this year, and huge thanks to all parents for travelling to all these over the last few months. Also, many thanks to all the coaches for your time and commitment to all the girls, in all age groups – Kieran, PJ, Colm H, Tommy, Tara, Ciaran, Colm Q, Margaret, Paul, Alma, Evelyn, Louise B, Lorraine, Rebecca, John, Kevin and Eabha, the top table salutes you.
The club would also like to send our condolences to the Fogarty family, Golden on the recent passing of Michael, May he rest in peace.
