DANCE CHALLENGE

Having watched Cashel take on an inspiring Jerusalem dance challenge, Lagganstown & neighbours have decided to follow suit.

On Sunday 28th February, we are going to do our part to lift the hearts and spirits of our families, neighbours & friends.

Due to minimising numbers gathering together at the one time, we will carry out our “filming” at different locations (Ball Alley, School, Schoolhouse, Pump, Creamery, Cemetery, Ballycarron Bridge) at different times. Cyril will personally be in touch with all this week to get numbers from you (men, women, boys, girls, cats & dogs all welcome) which will enable him to put a schedule together which you will then be advised of.

As always, your support is very much appreciated & between now and Sunday February 28, get practising.

While this will be a fun event, social distancing incl. wearing of face masks must be strictly adhered to. Any queries please do not hesitate to contact Cyril on (087) 257 8995.

PARISH NOTES FOR THE WEEK

Mass for Ash Wednesday at 10am including exposition of blessed sacrament after mass. Mass Friday morning at 10am. Reflection for Lent by Fr Bobby on Tuesday Feb 23 at 7pm on livestream for 15 minutes.

Anniversary mass this weekend is for “Dec’d members of the English family, Knockgraffon” on Sunday, Feb 21 at 11am.

As there are no public masses at the moment, we would appreciate it if people could either leave their donations to Fr Bobby or any Parish Council member or the safest way is to go on to the Cashel & Emly website, click on New Inn and Knockgraffon Parish and click Donate. It is very safe and easy and if you donate €250 over 12 months the Parish will get cash back in Tax relief. We urge you to please use the system.

Many thanks Parish Council.
