ROCKWELL ROVERS CAMOGIE CLUB
Our adjourned AGM was held Thursday night under covid regulations and our new officers for the year 2021 are as follows; Chairperson: Annette Carroll, Secretary: Louise Moloney,
Registrar: Gillian Hayes, Treasurer: Tara Stafford, Child protection officer: Maria McGrath. Huge thanks to John Fogarty who stepped down after 4 years as chairman, a fantastic worker in the club and we are delighted to say he will continue as our county board rep going forward. To all our coaches also thank you again, without you we would not be able to continue.
Thanks for the support of all parents over this very strange year, and we hope to be back with strength and agility training mid-January, all going to plan. We would like to wish our girls who have moved on from us, the very best in whatever they do next year. They are now over age and unfortunately, we do not have a team for them, but it is our aim to eventually get our minor team up and running. We would like to wish all the girls and parents a very happy and safe Christmas and best wishes for the new year. Thanks again.
SINCERE SYMPATHY
It is with deep regret that we learn of the passing of Paddy Maher, Tipperary town and late of Knockgraffon. Paddy was a member of the great team which won the double u15 titles in the 1950s and was one of the Captains. He was also a referee of note and refereed in the West division during the 1960’s. The club wishes to extend its sympathy to his family. Ar dheis de go raibh a anam dilis.
