NEW INN WOMEN’S GROUP TO HOST AFTERNOON TEA PARTY

The New Inn Women’s Group is excited to announce their upcoming Afternoon Tea Party following the success of their last event. Join us this Sunday, March 2, at the New Inn Community Centre from 3pm to 6pm for an enjoyable afternoon filled with delightful treats and great company. Everyone is welcome to attend, but kindly let us know by Friday, February 28, so we can ensure you have a place at a table. Local man Diarmuid Barron Selected for Ireland’s Senior A Team
Congratulations to Diarmuid Barron from Racecourse Cross, who has earned a prestigious spot on Ireland’s Senior Rugby A team. Barron, a former student of Rockwell College, will be joined by another alumnus, Brian Gleeson, as they prepare to face England next Sunday at 1pm at Ashton Gate in Bristol. This selection is a testament to Barron’s hard work and dedication to the sport. The community is proud of his achievement and looks forward to cheering on the team. C’mon Ireland!

NEW INN VOICES PRESENTATION

The talented members of New Inn Voices proudly present a cheque for €2,200 to the Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation. The funds, raised during their heartfelt concert on December 14, 2024, will provide 122 hours of specialized in-home nursing care and vital respite support for families caring for seriously ill children across the nation.
