COUNTY FINAL U14B CHAMPIONS
Congratulations to our U14 girls on a heart wrenching, breathtaking, well-deserved win yesterday in their County Final against a very talented and strong Mullinahone team. These girls along with the extended panel of our 2nd team have trained very hard all year and they reaped their reward last Monday i.e., bank holiday Oct 30. Thanks to the Mullinahone girls for a great match and to Solohead for the use of their facilities. Also, to the County board for organising and facilitating the competition. A special thanks goes to each girl who has committed hugely to the club this year and to their parents for their never-ending support and dedication. Not forgetting the mentors and coaches: Colm Quinn, Kieran McGrath, Padraig O’Connor, Martina Durkin and Colette Moloney. The community came out in abundance to support the club and at times when the girls needed it, they were the 16th player on the field. Thanks to Noel, Alan O’Donnell and all the staff in Woodview Service station Cahir for the fabulous food and venue for the post-match celebrations.
